GGG - NATO qualified small arms ammunition producer

AB GIRAITĖS GINKLUOTĖS GAMYKLA (GGG) is one of the most recent and modern small arms ammunition manufacturers in the world having innovative technology, modern equipment and producing NATO qualified production. The company was established in 2000. Within 18 months all buildings were built, new equipment was assembled and laboratories established. The first lots of 7.62x39 mm cartridges were produced by the end of 2001. 2002 is the official beginning of the production for sales. An integrated quality assurance system acc. to ISO standards was implemented in 2002.

From the beginning of the company activity, the main goal is to produce high quality production according to the NATO standards and requirements from customers. In 2004, GGG cartridges 5.56x45 mm and 7.62x51 mm were sent for the tests to NATO European Regional Tests Center for the qualification approval. With the three-year experience in the sphere of cartridges production, two types of cartridges were qualified at once and GGG received the right to mark both types of cartridges with NATO interchangeability sign in May, 2005.

From 2006 about 90 % of the annual production is exported. The customers of GGG are armed forces, special forces or military units of the NATO and other countries as well as private companies, working with military production.
